James Deen welcomes the audience in his kitchen counter. His love for food remains the reason why he created an impromptu cooking session. Today, James wants to make meatloaf for the first time in his life. He mentions that he has never eaten meatloaf before making it more challenging. This is also his first time to taste a meatloaf. He tastes one so he can figure out how to cook one. Before he even takes a bite, he smells the food first. He figures out that the recipe has meat, spices, ketchup and some barbecue sauce. James proudly says that he can successfully cook meatloaf. He then heads to the supermarket to buy the ingredients. The rule is simple, he can do whatever he wants except for one thing, he is not allowed to look for recipes on how to make meatloaf. The ingredients that he buys are onions, garlic, chives, pure dark brown cane sugar, classic water crisps, eggs, barbecue sauce, ground pork, ground beef, salt, pepper and milk. James, now back in the kitchen, mentions that the most important ingredient when cooking is malt liquor. According to him, “Everyone knows that if you want to cook food, you should be drunk of malt liquor.” He now begins preparing the ingredients. He chops the onions, garlic and chives first. He then mixes the chopped ingredients with eggs, pepper, salt, sugar, meat, milk, barbecue sauce and mustard in a mixing bowl. He excitedly uses his hand to mix the ingredients before realizing that he can actually use a spoon. With the ingredients now mixed well, James transfers the mixture into foil containers. He puts some barbecue sauce on top before putting it inside the oven. He argues whether the meatloaf will finish cooking in half an hour, 45 minutes or an hour. James Deen cannot stand still while the meatloaf cooks. He keeps going back and forth to the oven to check if the meatloaf is already cooked. After some time, he takes the foil containers out of the oven. He transfers one into a plate, still hot. James Deen proudly says that his meatloaf tastes good. He even lets a staff member try it just to ensure everyone that he isn’t lying.
